Obtaining official updates over the Internet
We are constantly updating and improving Stata, and updating your copy of Stata is easy.
1. From inside Stata, start by pulling down Help from the menu bar.
Select Official Updates from the Help menu.
2. Click http://www.stata.com.
3. Click update if recommended.
4. Your local copy of Stata is now updated.
